I would like to start subtitling my videos this year and need a bit of help affording the program that allows me to do that.
VEED is a video editing program that has an impressive auto-captioning feature that makes subbing audio easier.
Their basic program cost $144 (which is the minimum goal), but to be honest, I want to use their pro program which is $288 (stretch goal).
Some of you may ask, why do I need to subtitle audio when I already have scripts available?” Well, the scripts aren’t perfect, plus on certain sites (like pornhub) it may be impossible to link to them.
Others may ask, “Why subtitle audio at all when the point of audio is to listen?” Accessibility helps create wider audiences. With subtitles, Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and non-native English speakers can enjoy my work.
So, if you would to donate to the fund, please go here.
And thank you for the donation. 🙂
